*Tips For Using Nose Wax*

I don't do a lot of wax noses, but here is the easiest way I have found to do them. This bear is 3" tall and I have stitched the nose with perle cotton.

Mask off around the nose. I prefer the blue painters tape. It isn't as sticky and won't pull out the fur when you remove it. But, any masking tape will work. Cut tape into little strips.

Hold the wax next to a flame. You do not want to melt it, just heat enough to make it very soft.

Rub wax on nose. Let cool. Rub more wax on until the nose is the size you like. Use your fingers if necessary to shape the wax while it is soft.

GENTLY! rub with some wax paper to smooth out the nose.

I like to paint a coat of Nose Gloss on it. This protects the wax and gives a nice shine.

Finished nose!
